The idea of slow food slowfood is close to our hearts. We like to eat healthy and tasty food so everything we serve is fresh and prepared by us. We do not use taste enhancers and avoid all products containing preservatives. We use produce from our neighbors, e.g.: milk, butter, cheese, eggs and some fruit and vegetables. Every week we bake in our bread oven sourdough rye-wheat bread. We grow ourselves some of the organic vegetables and herbs. Every year we make dozens of preserves from fruit, vegetables and wild mushrooms.
We prepare three tasty and healthy meals during the day: breakfast, dinner and supper. On request we can prepare an evening dinner. After dinner we serve dessert – homemade cake or fruit. Our meals are varied and served on platters, so everyone can choose what they want to eat and how much.
Many of the dishes we serve are our own recipes. A lot of our regular guests return especially for hercules, cappuccino izbnianino, Grandma Tereska’s herring in garlic or Grandpa Kazik’s lard.
As our guests are often families with children, and we also have small children, we make sure that our meals are attractive for youngsters as well.
On request at prior notice, we can serve vegetarian, vegan or diet meals.
It is also possible to buy some countryside produce: cheeses, milk, eggs and preserves.
